Batuhan Cakir is currently working as a Bioinformatician at Wellcome Sanger Institute since October 2021. Prior to this, Batuhan worked as a Research Assistant at Gebze Technical University from January 2020 to October 2021. Batuhan also has experience as a Visiting Scientist at Wellcome Sanger Institute in April 2019. Additionally, Batuhan has interned at Gumi Gıda and Acibadem Healthcare Group. Batuhan holds a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Batuhan completed a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at Gebze Technical University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field.
