Kathryn Beal

Kathryn Beal is an experienced Senior Software Engineer who has worked in various prestigious companies such as Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Eagle Genomics Ltd., and EBI. With a strong background in bioinformatics and comparative genomics, Kathryn has contributed significantly to the development and maintenance of pipelines. Prior to their software engineering roles, Kathryn also worked as a research assistant and post-doctoral research assistant at Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Virology, a Doctor of Philosophy in 'Structural Investigations of the Components of the Complement Cascade', and a Master of Science in Information Technology.
