Lisa Murphy

Lisa Murphy has extensive experience in health technology and policy, currently serving as a Technology Lead at Wellcome Trust since October 2022. Previously, at NHSX, Lisa held roles as a Senior Policy Manager and Programme Manager, focusing on the development of policies for Secure Data Environments and other health data initiatives. Lisa has contributed to various organizations, including Medact as a Trustee and as a Start-Up Mentor at London South Bank University, while also working as a Health Technology Consultant. Previous roles include Digital Strategist and National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow at Public Health England, where Lisa advanced approaches to data governance and health systems. With a strong educational background, including a Master's in Health Data Science from UCL, and active involvement in child health advocacy through RCPCH, Lisa's work emphasizes data ethics, policy development, and innovative health solutions.
