Eliza Lynch

Eliza Lynch is an Environmental Studies major at Wellesley College, expected to graduate in May 2026. Currently serving as a Toxic Metals Researcher at Wellesley College, Eliza collaborates with The Food Project and Professor Dan Brabander’s lab to address lead contamination in urban compost and soils while promoting food justice. Previous experiences include roles as a Student Researcher and Student Intern at California State University, Fullerton, focusing on urban food systems, an Environmental Researcher at UCLA working to understand toxic metal distribution in Los Angeles County, and various internships with organizations such as Heal the Bay, Citizens' Climate Lobby, and Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability, which involved community engagement and educational outreach. Eliza has also contributed as a Mathematics Tutor, facilitating critical thinking among elementary students.
