Jacob Stambaugh

Jacob Stambaugh has a diverse range of work experience. Jacob began their career as an Undergraduate Learning Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin in 2018. In 2019, they became a Visiting Researcher at Oregon State University and also served as an External Chair for the UT Austin Biomedical Engineering Advisory Board.

In 2020, Jacob took on roles as a Research Assistant at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences and a Software Engineer Intern at Carlin Fit LLC. Jacob also became President of Texas Engineering World Health.

In 2021, Jacob worked as a Customer Support Intern at Benchling and continued their Research Assistant position at the Oden Institute. Jacob joined Virtus Real Estate Capital in July 2022 as a Data Scientist until January 2023.

Currently, Jacob is a Data Scientist at Welligence Energy Analytics, starting in January 2023. Throughout their various roles, they have gained experience in fields such as data science, research, engineering, and customer support.

Jacob Stambaugh pursued their education in the field of Biomedical/Medical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin from 2017 to 2022, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree. Concurrently, they also earned a Minor in Computer Science from the same institution, completing it from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, Jacob obtained several certifications including Intermediate SQL and basic SQL from HackerRank in May 2021, PyTorch Essential Training: Deep Learning from LinkedIn in October 2020, Problem Solving and Python (basic) from HackerRank in April 2020, and Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research Course 1 from CITI Program in August 2021.
