James Fahey

James Fahey currently serves as Vice President and Wealth Advisor at Wellington Shields, a position held since November 2016. Prior to this role, James was the Director of Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. from September 2012 to November 2016 and worked as a VP International Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch between July 2005 and September 2012. James' extensive career in finance began at Salomon Smith Barney Holdings Inc. where James rose to the position of Senior Vice President while also leading the FA Corporate Client Group. Academically, James holds an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from Iona University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the same institution, complemented by a foundational education at Cardinal Spellman High School.
