Ray Ballou

Ray Ballou possesses extensive experience in quality control and management within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Quality Control Manager at Wellman Advanced Materials since June 2015, Ray oversees nylon compounding quality control activities. Previously, Ray worked as the Quality/Safety/HR Manager at ICE Recycling, coordinating various operational aspects from March 2011 to May 2015. Ray's extensive career at Wellman spanned from June 1978 to March 2011, during which time Ray held multiple roles including Project/Process Manager, Quality Manager, and Production & Inventory Control Manager. Ray is well-versed in industry standards such as ISO9000, TS16949, A2LA, and Six Sigma. Ray earned a B.S. in Business Administration from The Citadel between 1974 and 1978.
