Kirstin Slepicka Bormann

Kirstin Slepicka Bormann serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield since December 2024, bringing extensive experience from a prior role as VP Technology at H&R Block from September 2014 to December 2024, where initiatives were sponsored to optimize technology across Customer Support, HR, and Finance. Kirstin played a key role in modernizing corporate systems by migrating to cloud platforms and simplifying customer support technology, while also establishing an engineering culture and advocating for the squad model to enhance product delivery. Earlier, Kirstin accumulated significant expertise at Accenture across various leadership roles, focusing on change management initiatives for major client deployments in retail, eCommerce, and other sectors. Kirstin holds a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Management from Kansas State University, along with additional leadership training through the Smith Leadership Consortium.
