Paul Eddy

As executive vice president, chief information and digital officer, Paul Eddy leads Wellmark Technology. In this role, through transformational leadership and strategy he is creating exceptional value and experiences for our members and company by the innovative, effective and secure use of technology.

Prior to joining Wellmark, Paul served as group vice president and CIO with Walgreens Boots Alliance. Earlier in his career, Eddy held technology leadership roles as senior vice president with PNC, National City Corporation, Northern Trust Company, and began his career with Hewitt Associates.

Paul currently serves as a board member of the e-Health Initiative in Washington, D.C. He previously served on the Illinois Health Information Exchange Advisory Committee.

Paul earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Iowa and is a CEO Perspectives Fellow.
