Head of High Net Worth and Ultra-High Net Worth Investments, Wells Fargo Advisors at Wells Fargo

Adam Taback is head of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High Net Worth Investments for Wells Fargo Wealth & Investment Management’s Client Relationship Group, which includes Wells Fargo Advisors, The Private Bank, and Abbot Downing businesses. In this role, he is responsible for leading the investment teams for The Private Bank and Abbot Downing as well as supporting our financial advisors in serving our largest and most complex clients. He also sits on the Wells Fargo Advisors Operating Committee.

Adam has been with Wells Fargo & Company and its predecessor organizations since 1996. Since that time, he has served in a variety of roles, including his most recent position as chief investment officer for Well Fargo Private Wealth Management, where he oversaw the full investment platform for The Private Bank and Abbot Downing businesses. Prior to that, he served in a dual role as both head of Global Alternative Investments for Wells Fargo Investment Institute (WFII), where he was responsible for the WFII’s alternative investment platform and strategy guidance covering hedge funds, private capital, private real estate and option strategies; and was the deputy chief investment officer for The Private Bank, where he oversaw the investment product offerings, portfolio management, and specialty investment teams supporting high net worth clients.

He holds a bachelor’s in political science from Syracuse University and a master’s in accounting from Nova Southeastern University. He is located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
