Genene Savall Wedd

Genene Savall Wedd is an incoming 2024 Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Wells Fargo, with a focus on Equity Capital Markets. Currently, Genene serves as a Resident Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is enrolled in the MLT Career Prep Scholar program, an 18-month professional development initiative for diverse talent. Genene has participated in the SEO Alternative Investments Edge program and completed an Investment Summer Analyst position at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. A Finance Fellow at Access Distributed, Genene was among 50 selected undergraduates for a training program in Investment Banking. Additional experiences include mentoring peers through the Mentor Collective, leading DEI programs as the Inclusion Development Chair for the Mercile J Lee Scholars Program, serving as a Client Solutions Extern at FactSet, and working as a Financial Assistant at University Health Services. Genene holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a focus on Investment Banking from the Wisconsin School of Business and an IB Diploma from the International Community School of Addis Ababa.
