George Atala

George Atala is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in product management and innovation within the financial sector. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Innovation in Digital Lending at Wells Fargo, George Atala leads transformative product initiatives for commercial lending. Additionally, George Atala mentors startups through WEVE Acceleration and holds an executive role at the International LEAP Network. Previously, George Atala founded Quantero Capital, focusing on accessible investment solutions for middle-income Americans, and contributed to rapid growth at LifeLock as Director of Product Management. With a solid educational background, including a Master of Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering from McMaster University, George Atala also has experience in enhancing student services at the University of California, Berkeley, and in software architecture at NYSE.
