Tyler Van Zandt has extensive work experience in project management, civil affairs, operations integration, recall and field services operations, and engineering. Tyler started their career in the US Army in 2008, where they served in various roles such as a platoon leader, intelligence officer, and plans officer. Tyler also worked as a field engineer for Frank L. Blum Construction Company. Tyler then transitioned to the United States Army Reserve, where they held positions such as a civil affairs team chief, commander, and deputy civil environment assessment team chief. Additionally, Tyler worked as an operations integrator for Leidos and as a manager of recall and field services operations for Inmar. Tyler currently works as a project manager for Wells Global.
Tyler Van Zandt attended Wake Forest University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies. In 2020, they obtained certifications in Basic Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Concepts for CBRNE Events and WMD/Terrorism Awareness for Emergency Responders from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. Additionally, they obtained an Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (IFPC) from the United States Department of Defense in December 2020.
