Alexander Petron

Alexander Petron has a strong background in medical informatics and healthcare leadership. Alexander currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer at WellSpan Health, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SolutionHealth as the Vice President Chief Medical Information Officer from January 2018 to May 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at Elliot Health System, including VP Chief Medical Information Officer, Pediatrician, and Chief Information Officer (interim). Alexander was with Elliot Health System from 2011 to 2022. Alexander also has experience at Atlantic Health, where they worked as the Director of Medical Informatics and as a Pediatric Hospitalist from 2000 to 2010.

Alexander Petron has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Trinity College-Hartford, which was completed in 1989. Alexander also holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the University of New England, attained in 1995. Additionally, they completed an MBA degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2009.
