Christina Weir Ripley

Christina Weir Ripley has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Christina began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. Christina then joined Pfizer in 1998 and held various roles until 2012, including Account Manager and Organized Customer Lead. Ripley then worked at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2015 to 2017, where they served as Associate Director and later as Director, focusing on business innovation and digital health. In 2017, they joined Highmark Health as a Director of Clinical Transformation Strategy and later became the Vice President of Health Delivery Portfolio. Ripley was also involved in directing the Innovation Team, leading a group of health innovators, designers, operators, and clinicians. In 2022, they transitioned to WellSpan Health as the Vice President of Business Development and Growth.

Christina Weir Ripley has a High School Diploma in Academic Honors from Taylor Allderdice in 1993. Christina earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Pittsburgh from 1993 to 1998. In 2014, they completed a Master's of Health Administration in Health Information Technology from Saint Joseph's University. Christina also obtained an Executive Education Certificate in Leading Innovation from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business in 2018. Christina is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Health Care Administration & Applied Research at Franklin University, which commenced in 2020 and is expected to conclude in 2025.
