Shane Walker

Shane Walker has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Senior Director of Infection Prevention & Control at WellSpan Health since 2007. Shane has also contributed to the athletic development of students as the Head Softball Coach at Central York High School from October 2021 to August 2024, and previously as the Assistant Softball Coach at York College of Pennsylvania and Head Coach of the Softball Program at Central York High School. Before transitioning into health and athletics, Shane served in the US Navy as an Independent Duty Corpsman from 1988 to 2001, completing extensive training at various military facilities. Shane holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Columbia Southern University, as well as a high school diploma from Lowell Senior High School.
