Charles Barclay

Charles Barclay currently serves as the Ethics Program Leader and Clinical Ethicist at Wellstar Douglas Hospital, a position held since July 2023. Previous roles include adjunct lecturer at Howard University and George Mason University, focusing on ethics courses and LSAT preparation. Charles has gained clinical ethics experience through internships and volunteer work at various institutions, including the University of Maryland Capital Region Health and MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Logic, Computation, and Methodology from Carnegie Mellon University, among others. Charles is actively involved in academic and community initiatives related to ethics and policy development.
