Mary Chatman

Mary Brimmage Chatman serves as the Executive Vice President of Acute Care at Wellstar Health System, overseeing nine hospitals across six markets since March 2017. Previously, Mary held leadership roles including Executive Vice President and President of Kennestone and Windy Hill Hospitals, as well as Senior Vice President at those locations, and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer at Memorial Health from August 2009 to February 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Nursing Officer at Vidant Health from October 2007 to July 2009. Academically, Mary holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Administration, a Master’s degree in Registered Nursing, and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing, all from East Carolina University.
