Marquez Coats

Marquez Coats, LMSW, is an experienced social worker currently serving as a School-Based Therapist at WellStone since August 2018, where responsibilities include providing mental health counseling and crisis intervention within the Madison County school system. Prior roles include In-Home Co-Therapist, focusing on intensive therapy for teens on probation and their families, and internships at ARS Residential Services Inc. and New Horizons Recovery Center, which involved individual and group therapy for individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders. Earlier experience includes advocating for adults with intellectual disabilities at Mobile Arc and serving as Campus Staff with Campus Outreach.
