Kara Lorenz-Goings

Kara Lorenz-Goings has a diverse work experience in the aging services field. Kara began their career at Extendicare in 2002, serving as the Regional Director of Quality of Life Services until 2010. From 2011 to 2014, Kara worked at the Jackson County Department on Aging as the Deputy Director. Kara then moved on to Region 2 Area Agency on Aging in 2014, where they were the Quality Improvement Manager. In 2015, Kara joined WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging and held various roles, including Clinical and Quality Operations Manager, Clinical Director, Assistant Director, and currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer.

Kara Lorenz-Goings obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in LBSW from Western Michigan University. Kara also received a certification in Geriatric Care Management from Kaplan University in 2009.
