Cliff Pollan has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. In 1989, they co-founded NewsEdge Corporation, where they served as the President and then CEO. Cliff played a crucial role in creating the first live processing system for financial institutions and corporations. At Thomson Dialog, they worked as the EVP from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2008, they were the CEO of Lumigent Technologies, Inc. Cliff then became the CEO of Postwire in 2009, which later merged with Sococo, where they continued as the CEO until 2017. In 2017, they co-founded What Did The Doctor Say, which was later acquired by PatientsLikeMe. Cliff then joined PatientsLikeMe as Vice President from 2018 to 2019 before becoming the VP of PatientsLikeMe at UnitedHealth Group R&D from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are the Co-Founder of WELO.space since October 2020. Additionally, they have served as a Board Member for the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center since 2017.

Cliff Pollan attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. During their time at the university, they focused their studies on finance and accounting.
