Klaus Geiger

Klaus Geiger is an experienced journalist currently serving as the Head of Foreign Desk at WeltN24 GmbH since February 2011, overseeing global coordination for brands such as POLITICO, WELT, BUSINESS INSIDER, BILD, and ONET. Additionally, Klaus holds the position of Managing Editor for the LENA Media Alliance, which includes notable publications like Le Figaro, El País, Repubblica, Gazeta Wyborcza, and WELT. Prior to this role, significant experience was gained at AFP from April 2002 to January 2011, where Klaus worked as Senior Editor and Reporter in the Economics Department and contributed to the Foreign Desk and the Global Terrorism Team. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in European and Ancient History from the University of Regensburg and a Diploma in German as a Foreign Language.
