Thibaud MICHEL

Thibaud MICHEL has been working in the tech industry since 2009. In 2009, they were a Trainee in Web Projects for Nextools. In 2010, they were an OpenSource project maintainer. In 2011, they were a Trainee in PRIDE Team for Mälardalen University. In 2012, they were a Trainee in Innovation Center for Sopra Group and a Research Engineer for INRIA Rhône-Alpes. In 2017, they were a Post-Doc at Université Grenoble Alpes. In 2018, they were a Software Research Engineer at Inria. Since 2019, they have been a Lead Researcher at Wemap, Smart Maps, working on a geo-pose provider framework for smartphones to enable the use of AR-Navigation.

Thibaud MICHEL obtained their DUT in Computer Science from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 between 2007 and 2009. Thibaud then went on to study Computer Sciences (Network & Multimedia) at Polytech Grenoble, graduating with an Engineer degree in 2012. Finally, they received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Sciences from Université Grenoble Alpes in 2017.
