Macklin H.

Macklin H. has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and development. Macklin began their career at NEC Australia as a Developer in 2012 and worked there until 2016. Macklin then joined Cash Converters as a Developer, where they developed a new platform for online applications and improved a tool for gathering supporting documents. In 2018, they joined VGW as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at VGW, Macklin built data pipelines, developed reliable and secure microservices, and helped build a scalable payments processing architecture. Most recently, they are working at WeMoney as a Principal Engineer, starting in 2023.

Macklin H. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Curtin University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Macklin also obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Macklin became an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate in April 2023, an AWS Certified Developer – Associate in November 2022, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in February 2022.
