Jay Fitzsummons

Jay Fitzsummons is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware design, integration, and testing across various industries. Currently serving as a Hardware Design Engineer at Wenco International Mining Systems since April 2014, Jay has also held roles as Systems Integration Engineer and Integration Test Engineer, focusing on hardware testing, unique system solutions, and Agile development processes. Prior experience includes working as an Integration Test Engineer at Automated Positioning Systems, and multiple positions at Hemisphere GPS, where responsibilities ranged from customer service management to OEM product support and testing. Earlier career stages featured roles at BEELINE Technologies Pty Ltd and Agsystems, where Jay developed expertise in hardware analysis, control tuning, and training. Jay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Newcastle.
