Buxton Layton

Buxton Layton began their work experience in 1995 as a Fifth Generation Winegrower at Wente Vineyards, where they focused on strengthening the family's legacy through sustainable practices. Buxton also served as a Consultant/Intern at Wente Vineyards from February 2012 to May 2017. During their time there, they interned as a Finance, Sales, and IT Intern in July 2015, and as a Sales and Marketing Intern in May 2014.

In 2017, Layton joined Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, first as an Off Premise Sales Representative in the Pinnacle Division from July 2017 to February 2019. Buxton then transitioned to an On Premise Sales Representative in the Premier Division from February 2019 to May 2020. After that, they worked as an Off Premise Sales Consultant in the Paramount Division from May 2020 to March 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Trade Development Manager in the Pinnacle Division, starting in March 2021.

In 2017, Layton also worked as a Legal Assistant at Garcia-Windsor, P. C. from January 2017 to May 2017. Prior to that, in 2015, they worked as a Guest Services Assistant at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts from March 2015 to September 2015.

Buxton Layton attended Southern Methodist University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Buxton focused their studies on Economic Sociology, Spanish, and Advertising. In addition to their formal education, Buxton Layton also obtained a certification in Inclusive Leadership from LinkedIn in October 2021.
