Niki Wente

Director of Vineyard Operations at Wente Vineyards

Niki Wente is currently working as the Director of Vineyard Operations at Wente Vineyards since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Sr. Vineyard and Viticulture Manager from January 2021 to March 2022. Niki also worked as a Viticulture Manager from January 2019 to December 2020, and as a Viticulture Supervisor from March 2017 to January 2019, all within Wente Vineyards. Before joining Wente Vineyards, Niki worked as an Assistant Grower Relations Representative at Huneeus Vintners from March 2016 to April 2017. Niki also gained experience as an Implementation Specialist and a Customer Success Associate at DoubleDutch from February 2016 to March 2016, and from March 2015 to February 2016, respectively. Furthermore, they served as an Interim Viticulturalist at Wente Vineyards in an unknown period between 2014 and 2015. Niki started their career as a Sales and Marketing Intern at Wente Vineyards in 2013. Prior to that, Niki worked as a Winery Technician at E & J Gallo Winery: Edna Valley Vineyard in 2012. Niki began their professional journey in the wine industry as a Viticultural Assistant Internship and a Customer Service Representative at Wente Vineyards from 2006 to 2011.

Niki Wente completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Wine and Viticulture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Niki attended the university from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they also studied at CEA Global Campus in Barcelona, Spain, although the degree and field of study for this period are unknown.
