Victor P. Kimaro

Victor P. Kimaro has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Director and Member of the Board at Rafiki Trust Registered Trustees, a non-profit organization in Tanzania, where they worked from 2006 to 2012. Victor also served as Director of Shinda Basic School, an English medium non-profit primary school in Arusha, Tanzania, from 2006 to an unknown end date.

In 2011, Victor became the Chief Executive Officer of the Shinda Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and communities in Tanzania through education, technology, and economic empowerment. Victor held this position until 2016.

Victor's career also includes a role as a Principal at Kiunga Technologies, LLC in 2016. The following year, they joined Accenture as a Technology Infrastructure Architect, working on projects across different industries until 2015.

From 2016 to 2018, Victor worked at YapStone, first as a Lead Network & Security Engineer, responsible for designing and troubleshooting network, security, and IT infrastructure, and then as the Lead Network & Security Architect, overseeing the implementation of AWS infrastructure and global network security.

Currently, Victor is employed at WePay as a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer, a position they held from 2018 to 2020. In January 2021, they transitioned to the role of Staff Security Engineer, indicating a continuing career in the field.

Victor P. Kimaro completed their education at various institutions. Victor began their academic journey in 2007, enrolling at San Francisco State University, Lam Family College of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Entrepreneurship and a second Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Finance. Victor attended this institution until 2010.

Later on, from 2011 to 2013, Victor pursued their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.

In addition to their formal education, Victor also obtained two certifications. Victor achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from Amazon Web Services.
