Rafael W.

Rafael W. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 when they were an intern in a medical summer program at Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil \"El Carmen\" in Huancayo, Peru. In the same year, they also worked as a Data Entry and Analysis Assistant for Dr. Zoltan Nadasdy at the Brackenridge Hospital. In 2015, they worked as an Instructor for IT'S TIME TEXAS and as a Biochemistry Research Assistant for The University of Texas at Austin. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Sonic Healthcare in various roles, including Analytical Chemist I, Analytical Chemist II, and Lead Analytical Chemist. From 2017 to 2019, they were an API Manufacturing Chemist at Insys Therapeutics, Inc. and from 2019 to 2022, they were a Sr. Associate Scientist and Associate Scientist at Molecular Templates. Currently, they are a Scientist at Werewolf Therapeutics and Babson Diagnostics.

Rafael W. began their educational journey in 2010 at The University of Texas-Pan American. Rafael then transferred to The University of Texas at Austin in 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2015. In 2014, they also studied abroad at Universidad de Sevilla. In 2021, they will begin pursuing a Master of Science in Chemistry at Ohio University.
