Ruchika Malhotra

Ruchika Malhotra is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemistry and scientific research, currently serving as a Senior Scientific Group Leader at Werfen since March 2023. Prior to this role, Ruchika held the position of Principal Scientist at Instrumentation Laboratory, A Werfen Company, where responsibilities included leading new product design and development for in vitro diagnostics (IVD) using Design Control procedures. Ruchika has also contributed as a Project Scientist at Giner, Inc. and as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Connecticut, focusing on biomarker-driven early detection of diseases through innovative sensor technologies. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry with a specialization in Bioanalytical Chemistry from the University of Connecticut, along with both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. Ruchika's early research experiences also include a summer internship at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, focusing on biocatalytic activity for industrial applications.
