Ming Yang

Ming Yang is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in real-time autonomy and system performance optimization. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at WeRide since March 2022, Ming Yang's work focuses on optimizing various components including OS scheduling, memory management, and GPU management, while also improving model accuracy. Prior to this role, Ming Yang worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer II, where efficient management of virtual machines and containers was emphasized, and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, contributing as a Research Assistant during a Ph.D. program. Ming Yang also garnered practical experience through internships at Aurora and General Motors. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Tongji University.
