Marieke de Vries

Marieke de Vries has extensive experience in roles focusing on diversity, inclusion, and communications within various organizations. Currently serving as a co-founder and Vice-Chair of DOSCO Connect at the Ministerie van Defensie since January 2018, Marieke contributes to networking and learning initiatives for DOSCO colleagues. Additional roles have included staff member in P&O DOSCO, senior specialist in diversity and inclusivity, and senior information specialist. Volunteer efforts include a webcare communication team member for Alpe d'HuZes and a committee member for diversity and inclusivity at Jong Defensie. Marieke's earlier experience includes roles at Alpe d'HuZes and Holland & Barrett Benelux, complemented by leadership in student associations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Military History from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Groningen.
