Sophie van Veen-Visser

Sophie Van Veen-Visser is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as a Senior Jurist at the Netherlands Ministry of Defense since March 2015, specializing in claims within the Dienstencentrum Juridische Dienstverlening. Prior to this role, Sophie was a member of the Focus Group Africa at Lawyers for Lawyers, an NGO advocating for oppressed lawyers from January 2014 to March 2015, and practiced as an Attorney at Law at Beer advocaten, concentrating on liability and personal injury cases from September 2011 to March 2015. Earlier experiences include trainee positions at AKD, Nassau Insurances, BASE Advocaten, and the Dutch House of Representatives.
