Eelke van der Meulen

Eelke van der Meulen is a highly experienced senior actuarial consultant with a career spanning over two decades in the actuarial field. Currently employed at APG since December 2011, Eelke provides expert advice to pension funds on various aspects including premium and discount policies, actuarial annual work, and investment plans. In addition to consulting, Eelke serves as a team leader, overseeing the HR cycle and ensuring quality and efficiency within teams. Eelke is also actively involved in education, holding teaching positions at both Universiteit Maastricht and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and is the chair of the education committee for the Dutch actuarial society. Previous roles include actuarial consultant positions at Aon Hewitt and a scientific employee at University of Groningen. Eelke’s educational background includes multiple advanced degrees in actuarial sciences and risk management from prominent institutions such as Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and University of Groningen.
