Cynthia Hume

Cynthia Hume is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and management across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Scrum Master at Werner Enterprises since January 2022, Cynthia guides teams in Agile/Scrum principles and collaborates closely with Product Owners. Prior to this role, Cynthia managed projects at the Omaha Economic Development Corporation from November 2019 to January 2022, focusing on strategic alignment and goal achievement. With a long tenure at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska from September 1998 to April 2019 as a Manager in Claims/Records Management and Six Sigma Black Belt, Cynthia demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and resource allocation, also chairing the Diversity & Inclusion Business Council. Cynthia began their career as an Administrative Assistant at State Farm from July 1985 to September 1998. Cynthia holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Bellevue University.
