Matthew Bonar

Matthew Bonar has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Matthew currently holds the position of Commercial Banker VP at WesBanco, where they have been working since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Truist as a Commercial Banker, VP from 2020 to 2023. Before joining Truist, Matthew worked at BB&T for several roles, including Business Services Officer, AVP, Sales and Service Officer, and AVP, Commercial Portfolio Manager, from 2011 to 2022. Matthew also had previous experience at United Bankshares, Inc, where they held various positions such as AVP, Credit Administration, Credit Officer, Credit Analyst, and Teller from 2006 to 2011. Their earliest work experience in the banking industry was at Calhoun Banks as a Teller in 2005.

Matthew Bonar attended Marshall University from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance.
