Weschler's Auctioneers & Appraisers
Weschler’s has been an auction tradition in the D.C. Metro Area and beyond since 1890, amassing over 130 years of experience, and is now owned by fourth & fifth generation Weschler family members. We understand the challenges of settling an estate, downsizing, or simply parting with personal items. Our family can help other families by assisting them according to their timeline, budget, and family needs, and by providing reliable, market-based advice regarding the monetary potential of personal items. In addition, Weschler’s has a team of experienced and qualified appraisers who can provide written appraisals for insurance, charitable contributions, estate tax and estate planning purposes. Our competitive rates are based on time spent, not on a percentage of the property’s value. Our professional appraisals comply with all standards and codes of ethics of the American Society of Appraisers, the International Society of Appraisers, and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Whether you are interested in buying or selling at auction, one item or an entire estate or collection, you will find Weschler's can accommodate your needs.
