Joan Notcool (Nakhoul)

Joan Notcool (Nakhoul) has been working in the graphic design industry since 2013. Joan started their career at Bensimon as a Junior Graphic Designer, where they collaborated with stakeholders to produce creative graphic assets, developed original content for social media, and planned and participated in customer related events. In 2016, they moved to York Press Limited as a Motion Graphic Designer, where they worked on a wide range of projects and media to develop vector illustrations and animated videos for schools in the Middle East and North Africa. In 2018, they joined Rizkgroup as a Videographer & Video Editor. In 2020, they began working at Noisy May Arts as a Digital Illustrator and is currently employed at WeSchool as a Graphic Designer.

Joan Notcool (Nakhoul) has an extensive education history. Joan completed a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Commercial and Advertising Art from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - USEK in 2014. Joan then went on to earn a Master of Arts - MA in Graphic Design from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture in 2016. Most recently, they are currently pursuing a Master of Arts - MA in Exhibit Design, Visual Communications and Multimedia at Sapienza Università di Roma, which they are expected to finish in 2022. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained three certifications: Plida from the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Barcellona in 2019, Delf from the Institut français in 2012, and IELTS from the British Council in 2021.
