Pamela Swedlund Sphr

Pamela Swedlund, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over 30 years of work experience in various HR roles. Pamela recently joined Wescon Controls as the Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations at Northwestern Mutual - Wichita. Pamela also served as the Director of HR at Pulse Systems, Inc., where they built and managed the HR function. Pamela has experience in senior HR roles at INVISTA and Koch Industries, where they provided HR support to various departments and managed HR processes. Pamela began their career at Arthur Andersen as an Experienced Hire Recruiting Manager and also worked as a Recruiter at John Hancock Financial Services.

Pamela Swedlund, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Personnel Administration and Psychology from The University of Kansas, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they have also achieved two significant certifications in their field. In 2010, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Later, in 2015, they obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
