Jonathan Gomez

Jonathan Gomez has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as the Head of Data Platforms at Wesfarmers OneDigital since December 2021, following a role as Principal Engineer in Data. Prior to this, Jonathan held positions at Latitude Financial Services as Head of Engineering, Cloud & Site Reliability and Principal Engineer, where a strong focus was placed on improving engineering practices and technology innovation. At Tabcorp, Jonathan functioned as a Senior Technical Lead specializing in API and DevOps practices, and as a Lead Developer, responsible for building APIs for mobile and web applications. Earlier career experiences include Senior Software Engineer and Platform Team Lead at ZUMATA, Developer at Piethis.com, and founding MiningPulse, a data platform for the mining sector. Jonathan's career began at NEGOTIACTION as Executive Director and Analyst. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
