Timothy Tan

Timothy Tan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as a Project Principal at Wesfarmers since January 2022, Timothy supports group strategy, acquisitions, divestments, contracts, and special projects. Prior to this role, Timothy worked at Deloitte as an M&A Senior Analyst from March 2019 to December 2021, where responsibilities included preparing independent expert reports and commercial valuations across various sectors, including metals and mining. Timothy's career began at The Finance Association of Western Australia, where involvement as a committee member lasted from November 2016 to February 2019. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Accounting and Finance from The University of Western Australia and obtained a WACE Certificate from Perth Modern School.
