Jeff Petty

President & CEO at Wesley Enhanced Living

Since joining Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL) in 2003, Petty has grown the organization from annual revenues of $35 million to $75 million. Under his leadership, the organization experienced new community acquisitions and demonstrated successful turnarounds, as well as reinvesting $100 million in WEL’s senior living communities in Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery counties.

A keen innovator with a unique perspective of how emerging economic and social challenges will shape the future of aging services, Petty has proposed and pursued federal legislation to support a new senior health and housing services delivery model, entitled SHIFT (Senior Health and Housing Initiative for Transformation), to ensure that quality retiree housing and medical care is affordable and accessible to middle class Americans.

Additionally, Petty is leading Wesley Enhanced Living to adopt a more market driven approach to senior living, from current continuing care retirement community models to enhanced living communities – a philosophy that encourages residents to re-discover and connect with their own unique passions and live purpose-filled lives.

Petty joined Wesley Enhanced Living with more than a decade of expertise in finance and operations in aging services. Prior, in the early part of his career, he served in an executive finance role for a Fortune 300, $2.4 billion organization. Subsequently, he was appointed as chief of operations and finance for several large, multi-facility senior services providers at which he made significant strides in improving the financial health and operational efficiency for each organization.

Petty holds a M.S. degree in industrial administration from Carnegie-Mellon University and a B.S. degree in operations research from Cornell University.
