Nima Shrestha Amatya has a solid work experience spanning over many years in various roles. Nima started their career at Yeti Travels Pvt. Ltd as a Junior Executive in the Reservation Department in 2003. Nima then worked as a Junior Executive in the Travel Section at the Embassy of the United States, Nepal. In 2004, they moved to the Facilities Maintenance Section at the Embassy of the United States, where they served as a Work Control Clerk. In 2008, Nima joined the Embassy of the United States, Public Affairs Section as a Cultural Affairs Assistant. After this, they worked as an Admin Assistant at the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists and as an Administration Officer (Contract) at the Department of Family and Community Services (NSW). In 2012, they joined the Mary MacKillop Foundation, where they held two roles - Admin Assistant and later Admin and Programs Coordinator. At the ANZUP Cancer Trials Group Limited, Nima served as a Database and Administrative Coordinator from 2018 to 2021. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Database Specialist at NeuRA (Neuroscience Research Australia). Currently, they are the Donor Insight and Analytics Lead at Wesley Mission, starting from 2023. Nima's experience includes database management, administrative support, office management, and coordination roles. Nima has achieved significant success in implementing database systems to streamline processes and enhance communication within organizations.

Nima Shrestha Amatya has a Master of Arts degree in Geography from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, Nepal. Nima also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Geography from Kamala Nehru College in New Delhi, India. Additionally, Nima completed their Higher Secondary education at Modern Indian School in Nepal, and obtained a GCSE qualification from St Georges School in Hong Kong.
