Andrew Plotkin

Andrew Plotkin serves as the Director of Utilities and Infrastructure at Wesleyan University since October 2017, overseeing the mechanical and utilities infrastructure for nearly 3 million square feet across approximately 300 campus buildings. Responsibilities include managing multiple high-value projects related to utility infrastructure, mechanical systems, and HVAC, alongside renovation and construction endeavors. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions at Babcock Power from February 2008 to October 2017, including Project Manager, where efforts were focused on coordinating and executing aftermarket projects, and Project Engineer, overseeing technical activities. Early career experiences include tutoring at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an internship with Boeing Company as a Stress and Structural Analysis Engineer. Andrew earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
