Hasan Karatas

Hasan Karatas is an academic with a robust background in history, currently serving as a Visiting Professor at Wesleyan University since September 2023. Prior to this role, Hasan held the position of Associate Professor at Istanbul Technical University from May 2017 and was an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Thomas from September 2011 to September 2017. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History obtained from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2011, and a Bachelor's degree in History from Boğaziçi University, completed in 2001.
