Jen Carlstrom

Jen Carlstrom has extensive work experience in the field of web design and creative services. Jen began their career as a Web Designer at PRT in 1998, where they designed websites and created presentations for directors. In 2000, Jen joined enherent as a Senior Web Designer, where they were responsible for creating design proposals and producing websites for clients. Since 2001, they have been working at Wesleyan University, starting as a Lead Designer & Web Content Specialist and eventually progressing to roles such as Manager of Design Services & Lead Designer, Interim Director of Creative Services, and currently Creative Director in the Office of Communications. In their various roles at Wesleyan University, Jen has been involved in developing design standards for university websites, designing and architecting websites within a CMS, and collaborating with university departments to adapt their content for responsive design.

Jen Carlstrom completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design at the University of Connecticut from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Weymouth High School from 1990 to 1994.
