Asst. Professor Of The Practice In Film Studies & Co-director Of The Wesleyan Documentary Project at Wesleyan University

Randall MacLowry is an Assistant Professor of the Practice in Film Studies and Co-Director of the Wesleyan Documentary Project at Wesleyan University since July 2019. With extensive experience in film and video production, MacLowry has been associated with The Film Posse, Inc. as a film and video maker since August 2004. Notable projects include work as a Producer/Director/Writer for a 60-minute episode on the nature of time in the PBS series NOVA, and roles as Editor and Story Consultant for "We Shall Remain," an AMERICAN EXPERIENCE series focused on Native American narratives. Additional production and editing roles have been undertaken at various companies, including Sarah Colt Productions and WGBH. MacLowry earned a degree in Art and Film from Wesleyan University, where studies were completed from 1981 to 1986.
