Wessex Archaeology
Bruce Eaton joined Wessex Archaeology in 2015 as a Project Manager in Salisbury, moving to the Bristol office in 2016. Since then he has managed the excavation of an extensive mid-Saxon cemetery, a late Saxon cemetery disturbed by church renovations on Bradford on Avon, major utilities infrastructure projects, and the excavation of the post-medieval Avon Street district as part of the redevelopment of Bath Quays.
Bruce has a background in commercial archaeology and over the years has worked on a wide range of projects, across the UK, including the Bath Southgate Project; a major excavation prompted by urban regeneration which identified archaeology dating from the Mesolithic period.
