Ruth Jefferson

Ruth Jefferson has a strong legal background with experience in compliance, general counsel, and senior legal counsel roles. Ruth started their career in 2006 as an Associate at SJ Berwin and later joined Burges Salmon LLP in 2012. At Burges Salmon LLP, they worked as an Associate until 2016. In the same year, they joined Wessex Water as a Senior Legal Counsel and later progressed to the role of Group General Counsel. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Compliance Officer and Group General Counsel at Wessex Water.

Ruth Jefferson attended Kingswood School in Bath from 1992 to 1999. Ruth did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time. Later, from 1999 to 2002, Ruth attended the University of Oxford where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Modern History.
