Martin Hönig

Martin Hönig, PhD, has worked at WESSLING since 2017. Martin started as a Project Manager and later became an Expert. Currently, they are serving as the Deputy Head of the Business Unit. Prior to working at WESSLING, in 2015, they interned as an Exploration Geologist at TOTAL for a period of three months.

Martin Hönig, PhD began their education in 2007 at Ruhr University Bochum, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geoscience. Martin completed their undergraduate degree in 2010. During their studies, Martin also had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at The Australian National University in 2009, focusing on Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. Following the completion of their bachelor's degree, Martin continued their education at Ruhr University Bochum, earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Geoscience, which they completed in 2012. Martin then moved on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geoscience at Imperial College London, a program they completed in 2016.
